Anchor Point is Morocco's legendary wave—a long, perfectly peeling right point in Taghazout that can run all the way through Hash Point to Panoramas when NW Atlantic swells hit the coast. The wave needs long-period groundswell and light offshore winds, but when conditions align, it produces some of Africa's finest surfing. The setting is exotic: a small Berber fishing village and warm Moroccan hospitality. Crowds are intense when it's working.
