Score threshold
Set the bar anywhere from 50 to 95 on the Strike Score: Firing at 80, Epic at 95, or wherever your standards sit. Spot-specific, not a universal star rating.
Swell alerts
A minimum swell height in metres, with an optional minimum period. When the groundswell you have been waiting for shows up in the forecast, you know first.
Wind conditions
Require offshore, cap the wind speed, or both. No more waking up to solid swell and an onshore mess.
Trip windows
Spots you would fly to only alert when good days line up back to back: 2 by default, up to 7. When a real window lines up inside the 10 days, that is a trip, not a maybe.
Early warning
Get told when a day 2 to 9 days out crosses your score, while flights are still cheap and the lineup is still a rumour.

What is a surf alert?
A surf alert is an automatic notification that fires when a surf forecast crosses conditions you choose. Strike Mission watches the 10-day forecast for every spot you pick and emails you when your score, swell, wind, trip-window, or early-warning conditions are met.
How far in advance do surf alerts arrive?
Strike Mission scans a 10-day forecast horizon. Early-warning rules fire when a qualifying day is still 2 to 9 days away, so you have time to move meetings and book flights, not just set an alarm.
Can I get swell alerts for height and period, not just a score?
Yes. Add a minimum swell height in metres, and optionally a minimum period, to any rule. It then only fires on days that clear your score bar and your swell numbers, and you can add wind limits on top.
How is this different from Surfline swell alerts?
Surfline alerts are built around its universal rating and typically arrive about a day in advance. Strike Alerts run on the spot-specific Strike Score, watch for 2 to 7 day trip windows, fire up to 9 days ahead, and include flight deep links in the email.
How many alert rules do I get?
Every free account includes 1 alert rule. Strike Mission Pro includes unlimited rules, so you can run different thresholds for your local, your favourite strike destinations, and everything you have saved.
Will surf alerts spam my inbox?
No. You get one email a day at most, around 5pm your time, and alerts go out on no more than four days in any week. Each swell earns a heads-up and at most a couple of follow-ups, and if a trip window you were told about falls apart, you hear that too.
Do home break alerts work differently from trip alerts?
Yes. Spots inside your Home Breaks radius, or pinned, alert the evening before a good day with the best time to go. Spots you would fly to alert when at least two good days line up, up to a week ahead (9 days with early warning), then again about three days out if it is still on, with flight links for the window.
