T-Land
T-Land (also known as Nembrala or Besialu) is one of Indonesia's longest left reef breaks, offering rides of 400+ meters through multiple named sections—The Point, Steeple, Magic Mountain, and Inner Tubes. Located on Rote Island, the most southerly inhabited island in Indonesia, it picks up every S-SW swell that rolls through the Indian Ocean. The wave works across all tides and handles swells up to 15 feet, making it one of the most versatile and rewarding lefts in the country.

T-Land picks up swell from the SSW round to the SW, and it's best when it's coming straight out of the SSW. That's a tight window, so it needs the swell direction to line up. It starts working at around 0.9m and handles up to about 4.6m, with the sweet spot around 2.6 to 3.7m. Period matters too: aim for 16s or longer, as anything under 12s tends to be weak. These are the numbers our scoring uses, so treat them as a guide rather than a promise.
