The wave is gnarlier and more intense than its neighbour, producing pitching tubes over shallow reef that make it a favourite among bodyboarders and tube-riding specialists. When solid SW swell hits, Lakey Pipe lights up with barrel after barrel, offering one of the heaviest rides in the region.
