Swami's is Encinitas' spiritual surf experience—a classic right-hand reef break named after the Self-Realization Fellowship temple perched on the bluffs above. The wave breaks over a rocky reef, producing long walls that work on both winter west swells and summer south swells. The steep staircase descent and the golden temple domes create a unique atmosphere, while the quality and consistency have made this one of San Diego County's most beloved breaks. The mix of high-performance shortboarding and soulful longboarding coexists in the lineup.
