Supertubos is Portugal's answer to Pipeline—a savage beachbreak that produces some of the heaviest barrels in Europe. The wave breaks over sand banks shaped by the Nazaré Canyon system, creating hollow, powerful tubes that have earned it a permanent spot on the WSL Championship Tour. Located on the Peniche peninsula, it picks up virtually any Atlantic swell and transforms it into throaty barrels. The takeoff is critical, the lip is thick, and the closeouts are unforgiving. Portuguese Pipeline indeed.
