Punta Chivo is one of the excellent right point breaks in the Salina Cruz corridor, an area known for its concentration of quality waves along the southern Oaxacan coast. The wave offers long walls with occasional barrel sections, breaking over a rocky point. It's part of a zone where multiple points can be surfed depending on swell direction and size, making it an ideal base for a Mexico surf trip during the summer swell season.
