Noosa Nationals is the outermost point in the famous Noosa point break chain, home to the infamous Boiling Pot takeoff zone that demands precise timing. When bigger E-NE swells push in, the wave wraps around the rocky headland with long, walling walls that connect through to Tea Tree and potentially all the way to First Point—a ride of 400+ metres. The name comes from a surfing competition that was held here, and the break's quality and length have cemented its place in Australian surfing lore. The walk through pristine national park bush is part of the experience.
