Jinzun Harbor is Taiwan's premier surf spot and host of the WSL Taiwan Open. This beach break sits in a scenic harbor setting on Taiwan's rugged east coast, receiving consistent swells from the NE monsoon during winter and occasional typhoon swells in summer. The wave offers multiple peaks with both lefts and rights, making it suitable for all skill levels. The local surf scene is welcoming and the nearby town of Donghe provides authentic Taiwanese cuisine and culture. With warm water, uncrowded lineups, and easy access from Taipei, it's an underrated Asian surf destination.
