Itamambuca

Ubatuba, SP, Brazil
👥Crowded🌀Strong rips

Itamambuca is one of Ubatuba's premier waves and a regular competition venue on the Brazilian surf circuit. The rivermouth creates constantly shifting sandbars that produce powerful peaks with both lefts and rights. The beach can pick up swell from almost any direction, making it one of the most versatile spots on the São Paulo coast. The surrounding area is lush and tropical, with the river providing a natural boundary that keeps the vibe more relaxed than some of Brazil's more famous breaks.
