Impossibles earned its name because it's usually too fast to make—the wave races down a shallow reef so quickly that most sections close out before you can reach them. But with offshore wind holding the lip open, Impossibles transforms into Bali's longest ride: 400 meters from the top section all the way through to Bingin. The wave requires precise conditions and committed surfing. When it connects, it's one of Bali's greatest achievements.
