Anchor Point is Morocco's legendary wave—a long, perfectly peeling right point in Taghazout that can deliver 500-meter rides when NW Atlantic swells hit the coast. The wave needs long-period groundswell and light offshore winds, but when conditions align, it produces some of Africa's finest surfing. The setting is exotic: ancient fishing village, goat herds on the cliffs, and warm Moroccan hospitality. Crowds are intense when it's working.
